Learn about Polish history, visit beautiful and romantic ruins of medieval castles and admire the picturesque landscape of Polish Jurassic Highland! Go with us out of the city to follow Trail of the Eagles’ Nests – a chain of castles dated mostly to the 14th century, which is perched on large limestone rocks between Kraków and Częstochowa. They were built by the order of our king, Casimir the Great, to protect important trading routes and Kraków, the former capital of Poland. Nowadays it is a protected area called The Eagles’ Nests Landscape Park.
During the tour, you will have a chance to visit renovated castles as well as stunning, atmospheric ruins. After the pick-up at your accommodation and transfer by a comfortable private vehicle, our guide will show you the ruins of Ojców Castle and the beautiful, newly renovated Castle in Pieskowa Skała, both located within the boundaries of the Ojców National Park. We are sure you will be impressed by the ruins of famous Ogrodzieniec Castle – which is our next stop. Its beauty was appreciated by many artists, for example, Polish Academy Award-winning director Andrzej Wajda, who used it as a scenery for one of his movies. If you would like to visit other castles, please do not hesitate to inform us – we will do our best to adjust the itinerary to your needs and expectations!
