The Royal Castle on top of limestone Wawel Hill located on the edge of the Old Town is one of the most important symbols of Kraków and Poland. When Kraków was the capital of Poland, Wawel was the format seat of our kings. The building is a mixture of Medieval, Romanesque, Renaissance and Baroque style.
One of the most important parts of the historical structure is the Cathedral, which is full of chapels, tombs and sarcophagi. During the visit with private guide you will have a possibility to see the complex of original renaissance palace. We will take you to the Royal Chambers, to the Cathedral with underground necropolis and to the bell tower where you will see 13-tone Royal Sigismund Bell, which is rung only on special occasions.
