If you are visiting Kraków, you can’t miss Zakopane! – a city about 100 km from Kraków, surrounded by picturesque nature, in the heart of the Tatra mountains. It is a perfect spot to learn more about the incredible wooden architecture that this region is so famous for.
The tour starts in Kraków. The bus will come to pick you up at 8 am, at one of our agreed locations. The tour begins with a visit to an old, wooden church in Dębno Podhalańskie, which is included on the UNESCO World Heritage List. On the way to Witów, we will go through Chochołów, a charming town near the Slovakian border, which offers more insights on the local wooden architecture. We will arrive in Witów to have our next stop and experience the taste of Oscypek, a typical mountain cheese, served in a traditional regional cabin. In Zakopane, we plan to visit the Jaszczurówka Chapel, ride the Gubałówka funicular and visit the regional market. You will have plenty of time to enjoy the place, grab a bite, find a perfect souvenir, and stroll around the beautiful town. Lastly, we will head to Równia Krupowa for all those who want to take unique photos. We will return to Kraków around 8 pm and drop you off at the same location you chose for your pickup spot.
