Biking around Kraków is a great way of discovering the most beautiful corners of the city quickly and pleasantly. A huge advantage of bike trips is mainly time saving – in the case of walks, a sightseeing tour of Kraków takes a few days, whereas it can take only a few hours by bike. Therefore, a bike ride is an excellent proposal for tourists who only want to spend a short time in Kraków. It is also a great solution for persons who like active tourism.
During the bike tour, tourists will see the most beautiful corners of Old Town, will visit the former Jewish district of Kazimierz, and will become familiar with a few parts of the Podgórze district. The bike tour plan is available in 2 versions. The first option includes a classic bike ride (with the option of hiring an electric bike), whereas the second option includes only an electric bike ride. Both versions of the tour take place during the day.

The plan of the bike ride through Kraków mainly encompasses the majority of the Old Town: the Main Square with St. Mary’s Basilica, near which tourists will listen to the trumpet call, St. Florian’s Gate, the Czartoryski Museum and numerous monuments and the former fortification surrounding this part of the city. Then tourists will go towards the former Jewish district of Kazimierz, where they will learn the history of the former ghetto and the fate of its inhabitants during World War II. From that point, tourists will go towards the Jewish cemetery and from there to Oscar Schindler’s Enamel Factory Museum. On their way back, tourists will ride on Kraków boulevards along the Vistula, near which the huge Wawel Dragon breathes fire every hour. Tourists will also enjoy magnificent views of the panorama of Wawel Hill crowned with the Royal Castle. The last item of the tour will be a stop during which the guide and tourists will talk about John Paul II and university life in Kraków.
